No Room... My Life is Full

TGIF and Yay February is Almost Here!

I've been bad about updating and I'm sorry. Facebook has taken over my life and it's just so much easier to keep updated there as opposed to here.  Plus, I think most of you are on facebook anyway, right?  RIGHT!!!!

So, I had a girl want to do a Southern Living at Home catalog party this month and I didn't think she'd do it, but she called me yesterday and had her orders ready to go!  I was excited!  The commission will pay for the Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit concert tickets I just bought for Ron and me.  Yeah!!!!  Damn, I love when free money comes a callin'  hee hee!!!

Tonight I am meeting up with some of my old high school girlfriends for a "mini-reunion". These are some of the girls that couldn't make it to the 20 year reunion back in September.  We are meeting at one girl's house, bringing snacks, booze and playing Wii and pool.   I am bringing some roasted red pepper hummus and pita chips and also some of my yummy homemade Valentine's cinnamon red hot dark chocolate bark!  Yummy!

 

I'm looking forward to tonight!!! I cannot wait to see some of these girls that I haven't seen in 20 years. We've been chatting thru Facebook, but tonight will be much funner. I plan to take photos!!!

Tomorrow a friend of mine is launching her new Premier Design business and she's having a launch party, so I'm going to go to that. Then, on Sunday evening we have a Superbowl Party to go to! It's one of my high school girlfriend's and her hubby that are hosting the party. She's actually coming tonight, so I'll get to party with her twice this weekend! Awe yeah!!!!!!!

Oh speaking of home party based businesses, my friend Elisa does her own sex toy home party business and I just ordered some cool stuff from her! If you want to order anything from her, I can give you her email address and the link to the website. They got great stuff and it's all very confidential. Hee hee!!!

Well, my hubby just got home, so I'm going to get going. Have a great weekend! I'll probably post photos tomrorow morning of my girls night tonight!!!!

I bought this little summer dress on Saturday at my second hand store for $6.99.  I think it's sweet!!!

 

Funk, Dancing & Broken Beer Glass!

I went out last night with my friends Audrey and Pia and we had the best time! We went to dinner and then afterwards went to the other side of the establishment to the music hall, where we heard an awesome 70's funk band play!

 

 

Pia got crazy and broke a glass!  haa ha ha haa!

We left after the band was over and headed to an all night diner for breakfast.  I didn't get home until 3 am.  Needless to say, I'm tired! 

More Clothes

I bought more spring/summer items at the second hand store yesterday.  The thing about this store is that sometimes there are brand new items with the store tags still on them and that's what I love to find!!!  A lot of times the reason these items don't sell in the stores is because the sizing labels were incorrect when the clothes were manufactured......crazy but true!  So, without further ado, here are my latest finds.....(the photos suck, but if you click on them individually, you can see them clearly)..

I just realized I hadn't updated my blog since Sunday..or was it Monday? 

Damn, it's cold!  I've been cooped up in the house drinking hot tea and coffee and resisting the urge to eat.  This is the hard time of year for someone who loves to bake.  I miss baking yummy snacks, but I'm not doing it!!!!!

Things are so boring here.....I've been scrapbooking to keep busy and trying to keep my mind occupied.  January and February are the longest, coldest months in my opinion.

I wish I had more to say, but I don't. 

Lush of a Weekend!

I'm glad the weekend is over...it was fun but very tiring!  Friday night Ron and I met up with friends to hear a local band.  The band was pretty good and the bass player even gave me a free cd of their music.  Nice!!!  After the show we walked across the street to an Irish Pub and sat up at the bar with the other patrons.  We got to chatting with a guy who was really tore up!  LOL  Come to find out he was a musician and invited us to come see his band play one night.  We had only planned to stay there for an hour, but ended up staying for 3 hours!  Time flies....

Saturday night was a party of good friends of ours, at their home.  The hubby fix all sorts of italian pasta dishes and there was booze galore!  Of course, I drank too much!!  Got really trashed.....we stayed at the party until 10:00 pm, then headed over to another Irish pub to hear 7 Nations play.  I was really out of control at this point.  My drinking was out of control Saturday night.   I said things I wish I hadn't said and did things I wish I hadn't done.  Sunday morning I was ready to crawl under a rock and hide.  heh heh!

Didn't do much yesterday but lay around on the sofa trying to recouperate.  Why did I say the things I said?  WHY?????  LOLOLOL

Shopping was Fun

Today was a good day.  I've been having bad days lately, but today was good.  We drove to the outlet stores (45 minutes away) and walked around and shopped all the great sales!  I tried on some pants and am proud to say I can wear a size 2.  Yeah!!!!!!  This is as low as I want to go.  I have no interest in being a size 0.   I wound up purchasing two cute tops for the spring/summer and a long sleeve cotton top for casual wear.  Nothing cheers me up more than new clothes!

It was nice to go somewhere as a family and not fight or argue.  I get so tired of sitting at home.  We used to take day trips all the time.  Not sure why we stopped, but I'm glad we went today.

We are in the process of thinking about our summer vacation plans.  I'm not sure what we are going to do this year.  We don't want to travel so far this year.  The past two years we have gone all the way to Destin, FL, which takes 2 days and last year was the Nashville/Memphis trip, which also took forever.  I really don't want to go THAT far away this year.  Time to start thinking......

Winter

I feel myself sinking into a winter depression....this isn't good.  The feeling of hopelessness, sadness and boredom have set in.  God, I hope this ends by spring.  I seem to go thru this every year.  I just need to make sure I have things planned for spring to look forward to.  This sucks.
