Overwhelmed

I am overwhelmed with my job these days.  I'm taking a break from here for a while.  Be back soon!

Lovin' Life

Another work week has come and gone.  Life at work has been crazy lately.  We are in the middle of a database conversion and I'm in charge of it.  Most of the data converted to the new database, but not all.  I am having to manually enter some data...bleck!  It's been overwhelming.  I've even brought it home to work on at night, just to stay caught up!!

Other than work, I've been busy running, exercising and enjoying the weather.  Today is absolutely gorgeous!  I am excited about the weekend. It is supposed to be 90 degrees tomorrow.  I hope to get a little sun on my legs tomorrow at Camden's soccer game.

Today my mom and I went shopping at Bath & Body Works and I got some yummy smelling lotions and spray mist.  I also got some kitchen hand soaps in Pineapple, Grapefruit and Lime/Coconut!  Yum! 

Then, we headed to my favorite coffee/tea shop and got 4 bags of fresh ground coffee.  I got Southern Pecan, Kenya, Saville Orange & Chocolate Raspeberry.  Oh, lord have mercy they smell good!

After that we went to some second hand shops and I got a pair of cute little workout shorts for the summer, in lime green.  They were cheap, $2.97.  I love a deal.  We had lunch, hit another second hand shop and then came home. 

I opened all the windows in the house and the breeze is blowing thru.  I just love this time of year.  It's amazing how happy I am at this very moment.  Life is grand!!!!!

What are your plans for the weekend?  Camden has 2 soccer games this weekend...one on Saturday and one on Sunday.  We also have a Seven Nations show we are going to tomorrow night.  Good times when the boys are in town!!!!!

Tonight I am making a pizza with reduce fat crescent rolls as the crust, then sprinkle a little olive oil on top, then add fresh oregano & basil (from my herb garden), black olives, sliced roma tomatoes, pepparoni, mozzarella & parmasean.  I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!  Maybe a glass of wine, too!!!!

Update

Update....the girls night spa night was a fun time!  We drank sangrias and they were delicious!  The chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered pretzels were a hit.   Someone else fixed an artichoke parmasean feta dip.....yummy!

This Sunny Weekend is Gonna Rock!

I swear I never update here anymore.  Why in the hell do I still keep this blog?  It's ridiculous.  Ugh!

I've been running a lot this week....a little over 3 miles when I run.  It's great because now I'm exercising 5 times a week instead of 3.  I'm determined to look "hot" in my new bathing suit!  Awe yeah!

Today was a busy day.  I got up and got Camden on the school bus, went to the gym for a workout, came home, showered, went grocery shoppping, came home, my mom came over and we drove over to my new office building (which we will be moving into June 1).  We were able to get into the suite and really check it out.  It's going to be a great space!  They have the walls up and painted.  Exciting!!!

Then we headed to lunch.  Afterwards we did a little shopping and then the long drive home to meet Camden from off the school bus.

Tonight I am meeting my co-worker girlfriends for a girls night of facials, chocolate covered strawberries, wine and other snacks.  I can't wait!  It should be a fun time!!!! 

Tomorrow I will be up at 6:30 am for a run, then planting vegetables in our new vegetable garden.  I got tomato plants, squash, zuchini, jalapeno peppers, sweet yellow peppers, cucumbers and some other hot chilli pepper.   Then off to Camden's soccer game and team photos.

Happy Easter!  Hope everybody has a great day tomorrow!!  We took Camden to Bass Pro Shops today to see "Redneck Easter Bunny" and for an Easter Egg Hunt.  He had a great time!  We got a photo, but we are waiting for them to upload it to the website so we can get it.

I got a ton of candy for my kids for Easter.  I'm old fashioned like that....sugar um up good, until they puke!  Haa ha ha ha haa!!!!!!!!!  I also got them each a new bathing suit for summer.

Yesterday, we took a family trip to Yorktown Victory Center and had a fun time.  I love that town!  It's right on the York River and even has a beach.  People were out there in bikinis.  Crazy!  It wasn't that warm!

Sunny Saturday

My Saturday morning began by getting up at 6:30 am and FINALLY going for a run!  I ran about 40 minutes all over my neighborhood (I live in a large neighborhood).  I was happy because I never got out of breath and my feet/legs didn't hurt.  This is because I have much better running shoes than I used to have 6 years ago when I used to run.  I guess I'm more fit than I thought I was, since I never was out of breath.  That's a good thing!!!!  I'm going to try to run 2 days a week, along with my 3 days at the gym. 

After I got home from running and ate breakfast, we went outside and began working on the yard.  It's a mess.  The weeds had taken over.  I pulled bunches of them and still have much more to do.  Uh!!!!!!!!!!

Noon we headed over to the park for Camden's first soccer game of the season!  Ron is the coach again this season and the kids did great!  Camden scored a goal, as well as the two girls on the team...both scored goals!  Yay, Piranahs!

We went to lunch with my  mom and then home to do more chores.  We are getting ready to head out to Home Depot or Lowes to buy some stuff.  This has been a fabulous day!!!!

What did you do today?

Hump Day

I think I am going to start running two mornings a week.  I want to run on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6 am (before work).  This way I'll be working out 5 days a week and I think that is what I need.  Just hope the weather will start warming up a bit, because being in the 30's and 40's is cold!!!

Camden's little birthday party with his friends went great!  We had it at our local gym.  They swam for the first hour and then we had the party in another room.  The kids all seemed to have fun!
